Why haven’t I received an email from Zoom that my recording is ready?

After you have ended your lecture for all participants, Zoom will start processing your recording and send you an email the it’s ready for sharing. If you haven’t received an email after 1 hour (since the lecture ended), make sure that you have enabled email notifications for your Zoom account:

  1. Go to https://brookes.zoom.us/.
  2. Click Sign In.
  3. Enter your p number (without @brookes.ac.uk) and regular Brookes password.
  4. Select Settings (from the left-hand sidebar).
  5. Click Email Notification.
  6. Find the setting When a cloud recording is available and click the toggle on the right to make it blue.

Figure 1. Click the toggle to turn from grey to blue to enable notifications for recordings.

Note: there is no Save button. After you click on the toggle and it turns blue, Zoom will save the change automatically.
