How do I set up Coursework activities and assessment dropboxes if I don’t need to use Turnitin?

All Coursework activities have been set up to integrate with Turnitin, except for the ones that require a grade but don’t require students to submit a file (e.g. an oral assessment or presentation).

If Turnitin has been enabled for one of your automatically created Coursework activities for a module run (class) and you do not wish to use it, you can disable the Turnitin integration by adjusting the individual Coursework activity’s settings.

In order to disable Turnitin from an individual Coursework activity:

1. Click on the Coursework activity (assessment submission dropbox) that should not have Turnitin enabled.
2. Click Settings at the top.
3. Scroll down to ‘Turnitin settings’ and click the arrow to expand the section if it’s not already expanded.
4. Set Enable Turnitin to No.
