How are blue cards managed in a Coursework activity?

For Coursework activities, the blue card will be automatically attached to each submission for students who have this adjustment listed in their Inclusive Support Plan (ISP).

This is different from Turnitin and Moodle Assignment activities where students with a blue card adjustment choose whether or not to attach the blue card to a specific assessment.

Within a Coursework activity, submissions from students with a blue card adjustment are clearly marked. These submissions appear yellow, with a blue horizontal line above and below the submission, and an exclamation mark icon next to the student’s name.

Clicking the exclamation mark displays the following message:

The Inclusive Support Plan (ISP) of this student includes the Blue Card adjustment. Markers will need to follow the Blue Card marking guidelines.

This indicates that markers will need to follow the blue card marking guidelines for that student’s submission.

Students can check whether they have a blue card adjustment by viewing their Moodle profile page. Other students cannot see this information. However, course editors (Module Leaders and Co-teachers) can view a student’s profile page to confirm whether they have an ISP and blue card adjustment.
